There's an Evangelion game on here where part way through the story you get an MP3 player and upon selecting it it gives you links to yt vids that are songs from the show (alongside one extra song for the lols) (There is also one section where it flat out just suggests a song also). I can attest from that experience alone that this would be a cool idea...but its not the end of the world if it doesn't get implemented...as there are work arounds...

Also I'd imagine that be quite a headache to program for a feature that would only really cater to a niche audience. I'd imagine most normal people would either read in quiet or put a song of their own choice instead.

But yeah...you can work around it currently by just putting super small text at the top of the page that links to the song you want. Though I suppose the issue would be getting the song to stop...again...workarounds...you can just mention when its time to go back to silence in a later page...

If you hadn't italicized Christine's text, I probably wouldn't have read it.

Ironically the italics was the part I skimmed over the most when reading this...as it contrasted with the rest of the story so my brain was like "Its probably not as important".

Your stylization metric is good if your trying to be subtle...this story very clearly wasn't trying to be subtle tho...

Though if you want to get technical with it...the in universe text being italics makes sense...as its a different perspective than the MC.

More focus seems to be put on the actual content of the words rather than the stanza or how the words paint a more broad picture. Though I suppose because its trying to be edgy that's sort of the point. I'm probably not the right audience for this. Its fine I guess.

I guess I've just seen a lot of poetry/art that's like this and this doesn't particularly stand out too much. Like I thought it might be subtle at first but the last few lines really drive home that the core of the poem's message lies in the fact that "she" is doing something bad that she shouldn't be doing.

I should clarify I don't have an issue with using differing ammount of words on each line...the sylables and the rhymes obviously are more important...though aren't 100% required obviously (its just really common sense that people tend like rhymes and consistent line length...poems are similar to songs after all)

Not trying to take anything away from you though. You shouldn't be afraid to express yourself after all. I've probably written worse poems myself when I myself try to be edgy anyways...lol :P

Mainly just wanted to ask why your character dies when you take the throne by yourself in the death and rebirth route? Its not even thematically out of place given that every other ending in the game has you possessed or die (mostly anyways)...its just that its not only cool asf how it happens...but its never properly explained. I get the feeling more is going on in this scene than meets the eye but its never alluded to anywhere else in the story...and doesn't seem to have direct ties to other stuff in the story. (Granted the amulet does speak to you at the very end...but it only adds more questions...why is it that you find the amulet on your way out instead of finding it by going further into the area? Is there a reason for that or is it just because?)

Though looking back at it...I realize there might be projection going on on my end. It was after all...the first ending I got so I felt more inclined to fill in the blanks of the significance of what was going on in the story as a whole...at least compared to what I would project if I got said ending later. Regardless that ending stood out to me...but I figured I should be honest with any potential bias I may have regarding the possibility of me fixating on it for whatever reason...

Also was there ever more plans for the maze? Like you kept mentioning shadows, hearing stuff, and potential creatures following you. Was there ever a point where you considered dying in the maze to be possible? (Was the maze mainly made to justify having a path blocked off in a believable way when you go into the pyramid with your friends? I'd imagine its a combination of reasons but this came to mind fairly quickly)

Idk if "like" is the right word, I just have a tendency to ramble sometimes. If you want more people to give good critique, next time maybe just post an excerpt instead of the whole thing, especially if you haven't gotten your prose good enough.

Though honestly...what's the point of the battery if you can just recharge it all the way to 100% whenever you want?

Whatever your intention with the battery is...I can promise you that its not properly implemented in a way that makes logical sense.
